The Khalnayak of Bollywood Sanjay Dutt is undoubtedly one of the best artists in the entertainment industry. Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3
The third instalment of the Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster franchise features Sanjay Dutt in a lead role. The film features Nafisa Ali as Sanjay’s mother and is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, who helmed the previous two projects. It is set to hit the screens on July 27.
In Torbaaz, Sanjay Dutt plays the character of an embittered army officer whose life changes after he comes across a few child suicide bombers. The film is directed by Jal helmer Girish Malik and produced by Rahul Mittra. It also stars Nargis Fakhri and is shot extensively in Kyrgyzstan.
The multi-starrer film also features Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur and Madhuri Dixit in pivotal roles. The cross-border period drama is directed by Abhishek Varman and is set to hit the screens on April 19, 2019.
Sanjay Dutt will play the ruthless, merciless villain in Yash Raj Films’ period action-adventure Shamshera. Interestingly, this will be Sanjay’s first-ever film with the banner. Featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor, the film is directed by Karan Malhotra of Brothers and Agneepath fame. Shamshera is set to go on floors by the end of this year and the shoot will wrap up by mid-2019.
Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker’s Panipat is based on the third battle of Panipat, which was fought on January 14, 1761 between the Maratha Empire and Durrani Empire, supported by two Indian allies—the Rohilla Afghans of the Doab, and Shuja-ud-Daula, the Nawab of Awadh. Sanjay will essay the role of Ahmad Shah Durrani (Shah of Durrani Empire), who emerged victorious in the third battle of Panipat. The mega project stars Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in pivotal roles and is scheduled to release on December 6, 2019.
Sanjay Dutt and Manisha Koirala starrer Prasthaanam has just gone on floors last week. It is the remake of a Telugu hit film of the same name and is directed by Deva Katta, who helmed the original one. The film is touted be a intense thrilling family drama, where Manisha will portray Sanjay Dutt’s wife. Produced by Sanjay Dutt’s Productions, Prasthaanam also features Ali Fazal and Amyra Dastur in pivotal roles.
